Posting on forums is a great way to make money. Although it is possible to use Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click advertising to reach the same audience, forum posting is much cheaper - free, and more fun.

Some forums do have a special place to make offers to the members of the forum, but this is not usually the best way to get people to buy from you.
